  1. Since Warfarin is a blood thinner, if you take additional blood thinners, this will affect your INR. Garlic is a blood thinner. Kelp, being a dark green food, no doubt has Vitamin K. This will also affect your INR. Omega 3 oils can be thinning as well. Biotin is a B Vitamin, so it should not have any effect. Best to discuss with your doctor that you are taking these things. If you are consistent with your Warfarin and the other items, the doctor will be able to work with you to produce an acceptable INR. It’s when you change things without letting the doc know that everything gets mixed up. Then they have to change your Warfarin dose, and the INR keeps going up and down, and you have to keep going and getting tested more often. The more consistent you are with your diet and supplements, the more stable your INR will be. Remember, all dark green leafy vegetables contain Vitamin K, and will affect your INR. If you want to know if something is a blood thinner, look it up on the Internet. Hope this helps.
